NEW CORPORATE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT 2021-2027

The new Regional Development Corporate Pact, first submitted and approved, will allocate a total of € 26.2 billion (of which € 20.9 billion is Community assistance and € 5.3 billion national contribution) to the five European Policy Objectives : innovative and smart economic transformation, energy transition and green and blue investments, transport infrastructure, human resources and spatial investments.

Key features of the new ESPA:

  1. Climate Change Social Inclusion Fighting Child Poverty Youth Employment
  2. Links with the European Semester and the Commission’s recommendations for co-financed programs
  3. Following is the National Reform Program and Development Plan for the Greek Economy (Pissaridis Committee Report)
  1. Supports other National Strategies and National Action Plans (Enabling Conditions)
  2. Supports the new Fund for Fair Transition (lignite areas and islands)

The Programs of NEOY ESPA 2021-2027

By sectoral – regional categorization:

– 8 Sectoral Programs: 17.6 billion Euros,

– 13 Regional Programs: 8.1 billion Euros

– Fisheries, Water and Sea Program: 0.5 billion Euros. Total: 26.2 billion Euros
